Description
The Oxford Drive replicates a certain shred-tastic high-gain distortion pedal from the 1990s, but with more gain, more volume, bonus clipping options, two extra voicings, flexible soft-touch true bypass, and top-mount jacks in a small 1590B enclosure. The current pedal version also has the exact same “soft touch” knobs as can be found on a variety of vintage gear from the UK.
Pedals purchased new will include all of the latest features (photo to be updated soon):
- ’88, ’91, and ’01 Voice Modes
- Si (stock), LED (guv), and asym (new) Clip Modes
- Flexible Soft-Touch True Bypass, with preset-able default state at power-up
- High Quality Capacitors for long life and to eliminate unwanted microphonics
The user manual can be found at this link. It’s written in a similar style to our blog, and we really recommend giving it a look to get the most out of the pedal.
