In October 2025, we added a third voice mode to the Oxford Drive: ’01. If you have an earlier version of the Oxford Drive with two voice modes, you can send it to us for modification. To do so, purchase this item. We’ll follow up with information on how to mail us your pedal.

When you purchase this item, you’ll be charged for shipping. That shipping charge will cover the cost to return the pedal to you once the modification is complete.

The ’01 mode is much brighter than either of the pedal’s original voice modes (’88 and ’91). The new, sharper mode emulates a pedal that took inspiration from the same circuit as the Oxford Drive. That pedal became popular after an NYC-based rock band used it on their debut album in 2001.
